Laura J. Ahlstrom, Ph.D., is a Researcher at the University of Delaware’s Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship (CEEE). Her scholarship in advancing economic education explores students’ decisions to take economics courses and major in the field, as well as instructors’ teaching and assessment practices in undergraduate economics. Additionally, she focuses on the persistent underrepresentation of women in the discipline. Through her work, she is committed to supporting economic education initiatives that enhance economic literacy and make economics accessible, relevant, and engaging for all learners.
